This time, we invite you to meet our new Azure Developer, Maxwell Francisco!
I was contacted by one of Luza’s headhunters, and after a few conversations, I became convinced that it was a great opportunity for professional growth. Additionally, being part of a highly skilled and proactive team was appealing to me. One of the reasons I chose Luza is the company’s strong desire to expand its business and foster the growth of its employees together.
As for my standout qualities, I would highlight my strong commitment, especially when faced with cracking challenges. I am dedicated to overcoming obstacles and achieving results, and I believe this determination will contribute to the company's overall growth and success.
I highly value the company's commitment to continuous improvement, as shared by Luza's managing partners. I believe this mindset creates a win-win situation for everyone involved. In terms of my contribution to joint growth, I plan to continue specializing in Azure and obtaining more certifications. By staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and expanding my knowledge, I aim to contribute to the company's growth and success.
Additionally, I greatly appreciate the team-building events sponsored by the company. These events provide an excellent opportunity to socialize and foster strong bonds with colleagues, promoting a positive work environment and effective collaboration.
For sure remote work is a great option, and I would even go as far as saying it is almost mandatory these days. Commuting can be quite stressful, especially when driving is involved. By having the option to work remotely, you can make better use of that time for other activities, such as reading a book, taking online classes, or studying subjects that benefit not only you as an employee but also the company. The flexibility offered by remote work allows you to optimize your time and engage in personal and professional development.
I have been working as an Azure Consultant, and I would consider my main skills to be in software engineering and development. One aspect of my work that I truly appreciate is the opportunity to participate in projects that are built from scratch. This allows me to gain a deep understanding of the product and customers' needs. Moreover, it provides me with the chance to collaborate and share my opinions with business analysts and the architecture team. Being involved in projects from the ground up gives me a sense of ownership and allows me to contribute to the overall success of the project by leveraging my technical expertise and understanding of customer requirements.
Currently, I am working on an integration project where my main duties and tasks revolve around creating and provisioning resources on Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. In addition to that, I am responsible for developing data transformation algorithms using .NET and applying the best practices of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and CI/CD DevOps. This entails ensuring that the system is designed to handle events and messages efficiently and that it follows a continuous integration and deployment process to streamline development and deployment workflows. By leveraging these technologies and methodologies, I aim to contribute to the project's success by delivering reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
I would say I am still in the onboarding process, and over the past two weeks, I have attended various internal meetings and workshops with the client. These sessions have been instrumental in helping me understand the client's needs and goals. They have provided me with valuable insights on how I can contribute to my team's efforts in the most efficient manner. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of the client's requirements, I can align my skills and expertise to deliver effective solutions. This onboarding phase has been vital in establishing a strong foundation for my role and ensuring that I am well-prepared to contribute to the project's success.
I live in Santarém, Portugal, but I'm originally from Recife, Brazil. During my free time, I enjoy taking my family to parks, going shopping, or inviting my friends over to my apartment for a barbecue on weekends. A curiosity about me, when I was a teenager, I was able to solve a Rubik's Cube within 3 minutes. Now, for sure it would take no less than 3 hours in the best case. :)
Professionally, my current plans are to become a certified Software Architect. Over the past few months, I have been dedicating my time to study the necessary subjects and expanding my knowledge in this area. I see this certification as a significant milestone in my career growth and an opportunity to further enhance my skills and expertise in designing robust and scalable software solutions.
On a personal/academic level, I am considering the possibility of applying for a Ph.D. program in either Artificial Intelligence or Cybersecurity. These are fascinating fields that align with my interests and aspirations.
I do believe that's true, because Luza tries to match employees' skills and interests with relevant projects, this way Luza creates a more engaged and motivated workforce. This not only benefits the employees by allowing them to work on projects that they find meaningful, but it also benefits the organization as it ensures that employees are utilizing their strengths.
