I came across Luza on LinkedIn, and the communication was very easy and smooth from the start. The ease of the whole recruitment process, as well as all the openness, gave me the feeling that I was dealing with a different, special company, which immediately caught my interest.
People are Luza's greatest asset, and it shows. The constant care about the team's wellbeing and the work-life balance philosophy are things that I deeply appreciate. I consider myself to be a communicative, attentive and empathetic person, which I believe are qualities that can improve, not only the teamwork, but the overall communication within the team as well, which will eventually contribute to a happy, productive team.
I have the ability to work from home but also to travel to our offices, which gives me the perfect balance between remote work and in-person work. This allows me to have a better work-life balance, considering I can enjoy the flexibility when working from home, but also can enjoy the company of my teammates when in-person.
I work in the People and Culture team, which is essentially the HR department of the company. I deal with a little bit of everything that is related to our people, from recruitment & selection, training management, vacation and attendance management, contract management, events management, benefits and compensation management, etc.
I live in Leiria, and in my free time I enjoy being with friends and family, listening to music and watching movies. A curiosity about me is that I collect Funko Pop's and snow globes.
I like to learn, so in the future, I would like to keep developing new skills and perfecting acquired ones. I also hope to develop my career within Luza and keep growing as the company grows as well.
